Welcome to your regular BADCamp planning work already in progress. As many of you know, lots of planning work has already been done with a shiny new website (http://badcamp.net), planning for our wonderful trainings and sprints, and various financial/sponsorship things. However, with out 86 days left, we are going to need to broaden things out so I am expanding the email list to include a larger group of folks from the SF Drupal Community and various BADCamp VIPs who might be interested in the planning process as helpers, lurkers, or just general fan girls/boys.
So let's make this happen. Our weekly meetings are set for Wednesday at 6:30pm at the lovely Chapter Three offices with remote conferencing setup for those who cannot come in person. Most of the meeting will be reviewing our agenda, but everything is possible. BADCamp is a dream that can be whatever we want it to be (pending approval by this man: http://bit.ly/18PwCUr).
Top priority will be planning our PUBLIC LAUNCH of the website and related camp. Things are in the hopper, confetti is ready to drop, we just need a few more finishing touches to the site and a plan to megaphone this wide and far. So come and help make another awesome BADCamp this year in 2013.
ADDITIONALLY, we will be playing the very excellent Settlers of Catan or 7 Wonders and ordering Thai food after the meeting. So if you can stay for an hour or two after it shall be fun.

I have a conflict and won't
I have a conflict and won't be able to attend the meeting tomorrow on such short notice, but I would really like to get involved with BADCamp planning. Back in June, I filled out a form expressing my eagerness to help, but at this point I haven't heard anything in a month. Who should I contact to learn how I can assist?

Awesome to hear about your interest and certainly we want you to get involved. Since you are not able to come tomorrow, just plan on coming to the meeting the following week (we do them every wednesday) and you can get synced into the schedule. If you cannot make Wednesday at all (tears), contact me on here and we can chat. Things are just getting ramped up here so plenty to do.
