The Drupal Gold Coast August meetup is here. This month we're working on the front end theme for our group charity project, so come along for some real world Drupal site themeing.

Our backend RedHen driven CRM for our charity project has also grown in scope and we're now providing a basic public facing site. We've got sign off on the design we've done and it's time to choose our base theme / frame work and start theming. For more info see http://drupalgoldcoast.com/dgc/node/115

As usual the floor will be open for anyone to share a presentation, a screencast or Q&A. Join us with your Drupal questions, new members most welcome!

When:
Tuesday, August 20, 2013
19:00 - 21:00

Where:
Level One OntheNet Building
165 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes, Australia

Thanks again to OnTheNet for providing the room and their continued support of Drupal.

Thanks for everyone who came to the meeting tonight. Topics ranged around a quite a bit:

  1. Pete's strange issue where system module is saying it is missing as a dependency when he goes to install the metatag module. Odd one, we'll need some more details to help track this one down.
  2. Git access to out Pantheon account where we're hosting out charity project we're working on as a group. Important to make sure your public key added to Pantheon in order to give you access.
  3. Base theme / framework for the public facing site of the project. Jaymie will do up a quick comparison doc on the pros and cons of going with zen-5.x, omega-4.x vs going with something like twitter bootstrap or zurb foundation. We're hoping to make a choice in the coming couple weeks and then get our design converted into a Drupal theme.

See you online at drupalgoldcoast.com for more work on the charity project, and in person next month.
