Hello Everyone,
Here's a list of the top .pt websites ranked by access statistics as supplied by Alexa as accessed by people in Portugal. It uses the detection logic from the Wappalizer project.

This site combines Alexa data, Wappalizer logic and PhantomJS (for the screencaps) to present the top lists. Analytics is first run through some custom PHP CLI which creates YAML files that simply go into a long text field for each date and country and is presented through a custom field formatter.
I wrote the site over a weekend a couple of months ago and have been adding a few new countries every week, so I'm sure it can be made a lot better but it's already pretty useful and interesting, I think. Full index: http://top-websites.burtronix.co.za/
This is the last batch of countries added to this site. My weekend work mostly focusses on a new ranking site: http://topdrops.org which just went out of demo this weekend. It's still very new though, so please excuse any bugs.

Keep up!

Hello Ricardo!
It's a pleasure - you have a good memory, I just barely recall the JunkMail project (but then, I was only there in the beginning for that one) but I do also remember you ;-)
Nice Work
Very nice post. Thanks for the information.

Its interesting to share top drupal based websites in different countries. It proves that drupal supports most powerful websites of the world. But something is interesting for me. Do you own this website burtronix.co.za?
I have no problem with it, but i was curious only and it was a question foe me :)

Yes
Hello shamio,
Yes. Initially I just added all the sites I build for fun as sub-domains to the burtronix.com one that's the main site for the company I work at. But someone in New Zealand mentioned that the per-countries site looks a bit spammy. so I built the newer one on it's own domain without any sponsorship links or branding.
Nice information
Very nice and useful information. I also found some useful information at www.aglobalway.com.
