Does anyone know of any companies, individuals or groups offering Drupal training of any kind in the Nashville area? Tennessee? Kentucky? Southeastern US? I would like to present various training options for my employer. I am aware of the workshops that Lullabot puts on, but I would like to see if there are any options within driving distance of my day job in Nashville.
I am most interested in theming, design tweaking, and understanding the inner workings of the Drupal framework as a whole. In the future, I would like to be able to assist with module development.
Thanks for any pointers - I would appreciate any leads that you may have. Drupal is a great program with amazing potential. I hope to see it gain more traction in mainstream web development.

Well, you're certainly welcome at Drupal Atlanta
The drive's a bit long, (4 hours) but our goal is to cover two Drupal training issues at each meeting. We do have plans to put some training conferences together at some point in the future.
training in atlanta
when is is and how much does it cost :)
I'm doing ok figuring things out on my own, but having it presented to me in a organized way might help.
Meetings are free
Our next meeting is April 17. Just check out the main groups page for more info
Have training, will travel
If you could show that there was a lot of training interest in the Nashville area, we could talk some and make up a program for you. I'm running Drupal trainings around the country this summer. Look here if you are curious: http://www.drupaltherapy.com
I would be interested
I have been keeping tabs on sites that are based in the Nashville Area which use Drupal and the number is growing. I think we are reaching a point where there are enough interested parties that we could look at holding an official meeting of some kind. This alone could serve to start the training process here in Nashville. Additionally, I would be glad to structure some training if I know that there is enough interest locally.
My day job is encompasses web development, marketing and training and we are currently working on end user training modules for Drupal that will be used for deployment of Drupal in our company. This could certainly be extended to some of the more technical aspects of Drupal I think.
Let me know what you all think.

Interested as well.
Ok... stressing the point that I'm a newbie to Drupal, but determined to become proficient. That said, I've been experimenting with Drupal locally on my machine for a couple of weeks and am simply blown away.
I'm approaching Drupal from a designer's perspective, but even with my limited knowledge of coding, I've been able to implement some pretty impressive (to me anyway) sites.
All to say, I'm up for learning everything I can get my hands on at this point. A Nashville meet and greet would be awesome.

I work for CentreSource
I work for CentreSource (www.centresource.com), a web firm in Nashville, that has recently made the decision to make Drupal our primary CMS for the projects that we work on. Since making this decision around the start of the year, we have grown proficient in all of the areas you discussed -- theming, understanding the Drupal framework, and custom module development. We would love to connect with others in town for networking and sharing of knowledge!
If we can be helpful in any way to help plan or facilitate Drupal events in the Nashville area, let me know! I think Nashville really has a growing population of Drupal developers -- and I think we would all agree that we could really benefit from shared experiences!
