So, I've been trying to use views with CCK, Location, and GMap for a few days now. I can get everything working fine, but there is one problem that I can't figure out. I made a GMap styled node view and everything comes up fine except for the popup info. The popups work fine, but the only data that is put into the popup is the label for each field.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why all the fields I put into the view aren't coming up. I am using:
GMap: 1.1-rc1
Location: 3.1-rc1
Views: 2.7
with Drupal 6.14
Any help would be excellent!

Maybe the latest update of Views and CCK is the problem :-(
After your message I checked an old map made long time agot http://www.tinemuller.dk/drupal/Crime and I got the same problem but it has been functioning earlier but I know I have been updating Views and CCK the 6 November so you maybe you need to make this as a issue.

I saw your site when I was trying to figure things out. I thought you had the same problem but hadn't found a solution. I guess it must be a problem with an updated module then.
Where do you think is the best place to open the issue? CCK? Views? Location?

similar issue
i've noticed what could be the same/similar issue... i recently put a prototype site on live server and applied latest patches (inc views and CCK) and have noticed that the Gmap pop-ups (which work fine on the prototype) don't work on the live site.... furthermore, if you use the "view on google maps" link from location fields, it goes to a map of the UK only with empty parameters for lat/long
i will do some more systematic troubleshooting/diagnostics and post any findings here... but yes i'm thinking it may be module incompatibility... gmap/location issue?

Problem after updating to views 2.7 - nothing in the Bubble
You can see they also have the same problem here http://drupal.org/node/623200 AFTER updating to views 2.7.
There is a new download http://drupal.org/project/views views-6.x-3.0-alpha1.tar and I have tried uploading this new one but no matter what I do it says on my site that I still have 2.7. Don't know what to do. Maybe this new vers. will be OK? I delete the folder on FTP and upload the new. Isn't this the right way to do it?
You have to run update.php

Run into same issues recently
I already found what was the problem. It's in gmap_plugin_style_gmap.inc.
'text' => $this->row_plugin->render($row),The line of code returns empty which means when parsing data somehow went wrong.
Still finding the solution.

They said there is a patch (http://drupal.org/node/623200) that fixes the problem. I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure. I'll have to try it later.

I just realized that I have lost that information too (worked fine before)
It is not only related to gmap. I am playing with the timeline module and it behaves exactly the same way: pop ups withouth the content.
Timeline also uses the Views module.
