The Wellington meetup in October was a success with a range of people with Drupal interest attending. We had 18 in total and the mix was about 10 developers, 5 account manager/or project manager and a few content / Drupal Users.

Some of the sites being developed in Drupal were of very high standard and this showed with the presentations. In addition to this each project presented some of the difficulties faced such as migration, integrating with other systems and modules to use in implementation.

Towards the end of the meeting the floor was opened up for discussion around what people would like to see in a user group for Wellington & Greater Wellington. In addition to this people mentioned they would like more support for knowing how to "Sell" Drupal to clients.

And last but not least, DrupalSouth 2010 was brought up, so if you can help in anyway, please visit the DrupalSouth home page. One of the guest speakers (and will also be at LinuxConf 2010) is Angela Byron (webchick) and from having just done some Lullabot training with her I can say she will have a lot to offer.

So overall a great evening and thanks to everyone who turned up and sponsors Signify for Pizza!

If you were at the event, please feel free to add what you thought of the event and most important of all add what you would like to see in upcoming events.
