Meeting summary

Good to see everyone this evening. Quick recap of the meeting:

  1. Jaymie ran us through Stripe as a payment processor. While it's still in beta here in Aus is looks really promising. Payment processing made by developers for developers. He also handed out some free kit so Stripe T-Shirts all around!
  2. We assessed our progress on our Hopewell charity project. We're still getting client feedback on front end content while the RedHen back end is starting to be put to use. We debated at length what solution we should use for the front page layout as well as content types. We've settled on Panels and are going to "borrow" the responsive panel pane layouts from either AdaptiveTheme or Panopoly.
  3. Unfortunately it looks like Pantheon cannot accommodate us to host our our charity site for free. We're still clarifying this and may approach Acquia if there's no progress.
  4. We're keen to launch the Hopewell site before Christmas, so if you're interested head over to http://drupalgoldcoast.com/dgc/node/108 and lend a hand to get us over the line.

See you all next month!
