I'm looking for Drupal developers in the Northern NJ area to collaborate with on a variety of projects. I am a developer with 5+ years using drupal on some moderately large projects. I'm a freelancer/contractor with a handful of clients and personal projects that I could use a hand with. Ideally I'm looking for someone in a similar situation that may want to collaborate on some of their projects as well.
This is not an offer for full time employment. It's more of a co-working opportunity, for the right person who would lend a hand with my projects. So I am looking for someone with a particular set of skills and personality. You don't need to be there all the time but I would like to meet on a semi regular basis, at least. You would be compensated on a per project basis and have a space to work from for your own projects as well as a second brain to bounce ideas off of. My space is in Hoboken, walking distance from the PATH train. It's very much an industrial artist's space vs. a refined corporate office. It's a cool spot with a bunch of creatives in the building.
Most of my projects are related to the photography industry in some way. They range from simple blogs and portfolios, to e-commerce, to complex community based photo sharing websites.
I'm looking for people who know their shit and can deliver.
Specifically I'm looking for people with experience with:
- Server tuning and administration for high-performance, heavy traffic, community based Drupal sites (4million + page views per month)
- Apache, nginx, PHP, mySql, memcached, APC, boost, varnish, etc.
- A solid knowledge of Drupal and PHP, writing custom modules.
- Migrating large Wordpress sites to Drupal
- Image uploaders: uploading many large images from Drupal to AWS and Rackspace Cloud Files
- Complex user profiles and community based features, OG, etc.
- node.js
- Other cool high-performance, community based, photo, Drupal stuff.
