My name is Emil and I have over 5 years of experience with PHP and MySQL. I have focused my work primary in PHP-Nuke as a framework developing my own modules and I have been able to get the job done to all my clients.

I have lately read a lot about Drupal and I'm willing to give it a try. One of the thing I have notice is that once you are used to work with any other framework the migration is harder for you than for the code or data. Why? Because in the previously used framework you know the name of the custom functions and classes and the feeling of being lost in the new framework can be frustrating.

I know that there is a big community of PHP-Nuke willing to migrate to Drupal, but the feeling of the unknown if really big. I plan to fully understand all the Drupal advantages and help all those stuck take the step forward the migration.

If you really understand how Drupal works, please feel free to drop few lines. The videocasts on the site are great to install and manage, but when can we have a videocast for developing a “Hello world” module or making few hacks.
