I'm not really sure what power the groups manager has been given (if any), but this group's current web manager vigo hasn't contributed (as far as I can remember) to the discussions in the last year.
This is now a much more active group than it was when it was first started. I think that there are a number of folks here have contributed to the discussions and to fostering a community around improving Drupal's accessibility.
I'd be happy if someone stepped forward to take on this roll, but would be able to take it on if nobody else wants to take on the responsibility (not like it is likely to be much responsibility).
@Vigo, would be totally fine if you wanted to take on a more active roll. If anyone else wants to take it on or has concerns or suggestions, please list them here.
Oh ya, the process is outlined here - http://groups.drupal.org/node/39256

Heard from @Vigo?
Do you know if anyone has heard from vigo? It would be great to see what his interest and desired role is going forward.
Mike, I think you would be a great accessibility groups manager. You had been the most consistent communicator and you have given tons of energy to stay on top of accessibility issues of all sorts. I haven't reviewed the official steps for changing a group manager, but unless @vigo steps up and would like to be active, I don't see a reason not to go ahead.

Thanks Brandon
I haven't heard anything from @vigo.
I'm not itching to be the group manager, but willing to take it on. Mostly want to make sure it's someone who is active in the forum.

fixed - thanks mike!
I made Mike and admin. Thanks for stepping up. It would be great if you selected one or two other people and granted admin rights to them as well.

Thanks!
Appreciate you doing this. I've added 2 other admins and hope this will help communications go more slowly.
I've still got more questions though. What's the difference between Manager admin & an admin? I've got nothing at all against vigo other than that he hasn't been involved in the last year. Not sure what permissions are set up for each roll.
Seems to me the main additions are ability to make more administrators.
1) Edit group mission statements (etc...):
"All you WCAG nuts this is the place for you: how to make Drupal more accessible. Hints, tips, discussion and patch proposals."
2) Add a taxonomy
3) Send a broadcast message to everyone in the group
4) Create custom pages for your group. Use custom pages to organize your content in a pretty and informative manner. Your group can group to be a whole website within a web site. Each custom page becomes a tab when viewing your group. One of your custom pages should be designated as your group home page. That page will then display when visitors first arrive at your group.
That's a lot of new functionality to work with. Hopefully we can use some of these tools constructively...
Are there any good examples of folks using #2 & #4 to build more participation?
Docs & examples are good if there are any.
