I've been getting a lot of questions from people "how can I launch a small business store in Drupal?" and I can't help but think this would be a great presentation for our Richmond group. I'm thinking an evening later this month -- potentially Tuesday April 29 or Wednesday April 30 would be a great time to meet up and chat about the benefits of e-commerce in Drupal based platforms. Does anyone have a preference among these two dates?

I have not participated in any local Drupal meetups, but this topic just might entice me in. I have 6 active eCommerce sites I operate. Four in Drupal Commerce and 2 in Ubercart. Commerce especially is amazingly powerful and I love working with it. Either night would work for me. Where do you usually meet?
April Drupal Meetup
Agreed, commerce is amazing, powerful and teasingly easy for some things and very complex for others. Depending on the level of experience of our attendees this could be either A) intro to Drupal Commerce and starting a store or B) sharing experiences with Drupal Commerce and developing advanced stores for complex businesses.
Our location is still to be determined but it's very likely we'll meet at the Richmond Merchants Association on Monument Ave near Willow Lawn.
The 29th would be better for
The 29th would be better for me, but I could make the 30th work. Commerce is a great topic. I have two Drupal Commerce sites - one small store and one membership site. Would love to hear how others are doing e-commerce.

Yah, it's always fascinating to see how others implement Commerce for their needs. I'm looking forward to Drupalcon this year as there seem to be more commerce related sessions to draw ideas from.
I'm also biased towards the 29th as well. Tuesdays seem to work best for technology meetups -- guess that's just the best night for a lot of schedules.
