Announcing DrupalGov Canberra 2014
DrupalGov Canberra 2014 is a single-day conference focusing on Drupal in the public sector. Following on from the success of the 2013 event, the DrupalGov team are excited to bring the Drupal community and Government together for another year. Featuring three session tracks, each appealing to a different audience, there should be something of interest to all attendees.
Drupal is strengthening its position as the defacto standard for CMS implementations in the public sector. Roughly three-quarters of major Australian Government agencies use Drupal in some capacity, many as their primary CMS. Drupal has seen exceptionally strong growth in this sector in the past four years. After the success of DrupalGov Canberra 2013, we believe that another opportunity to bring people together in a public forum will further enhance the spread of Drupal.
Where & when
DrupalGov Canberra 2014 will be held on Friday the 22nd of August, at the National Museum of Australia.
Tickets
Earlybird tickets are available for purchase from Eventbrite right now. Regular priced tickets will go on sale either on June 1st or when all 50 earlybird tickets have been purchased.
Call for speakers
Session submissions are welcomed from both individuals and all public and private sector organisations. We welcome session proposals from anyone delivering public sector Drupal projects or those with expertise, experience or good ideas to share.
We’re running three simultaneous tracks for:
- Drupal in Government
- Coding, Frontend & DevOps
- Case studies/panel discussions
Preference may be given to talks incorporating some aspect of Government although that’s not a hard requirement.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, 1 August at 23:59 AEST (UTC +10).
Sponsorship
The DrupalGov team have prepared some sponsorship packages for consideration. Full information may be found on the sponsorship pages of the website.

All day car park?
The National Museum of Australia website states that parking is free but limited to 4 hours. Can anyone suggest some where nearby where you can park all day?
Thanks
