How to create a Social Networking Site like Orkut, MySpace using Open Source Drupal ?

Hi All,
After reading a lot of forums around and deciding to build my own social networking site, I have created a list of modules that I think we might need to build one:

I am working on the complete tutorial and probably, later a code base as well to be released back to Drupal community as I progress in my project.

I have been venturing on the same grounds, and the list of modules that I have looks much like yours but it is much shorter - I have been more conservative and tentative in choosing user contributed modules. To this point, I have done no changes to code - I did code the navigation block, but I had it encapsulated in a block.

I would be interested in the developments you make. Do keep us updated.
