I'd like to try to get a group of drupal users together in New York's Capital Region but it seems like a good idea to see how many of us there are out there first. I am the director of a public library in Columbia County and have recently launched my first drupal site. I'm hoping that we can form a group that would provide feedback on project development, drupal-related conversation, and networking. Please respond to this post if you'd be interested in participating.

Hello Julie,
I'm in Guilderland and interested in participating in a NY Capital District Drupal Users Group.
I knew some people at the Sanctuary for Ind. Media in troy that also used Drupal, but I haven't talked with them in quite awhile and don't know if they are still around.
Anyways, I'm +1 for the group.

Great
Hi Steve,
Thanks for responding. We'll give it a couple of weeks and see what we can put together.

Sign me up!
I assume you've applied for a Capitol District Group and we're waiting to hear. If you can't get it approved in time for our first meetup, we could create an account on meetups.com and use that ...

I'm in and I have friends
Hi all,
I'm at Empire State College in Saratoga Springs and we are currently using Drupal for several projects with bigger things planned for the future. There are several Drupal developers here, so I'll bring this to their attention.

A little late, but...
Just found this group. I'm a local PHP/Drupal developer in Albany, and I'd like to meet other local Drupal developers and users. So, I'm happy this group exists. Hopefully there are future meetups being planned.

Better late than never.
Better late than never. Welcome. We had a meeting a few months ago so it's almost time to put another one together. In fact I just posted a note here (http://groups.drupal.org/node/49383#comment-242598) to see who else was interested. Cheers.
