The next DrupalACT meeting will be held at 6pm on Tue, 15th July 2014. Come along to meet other Drupal people, share your skills and experience, and maybe learn something new!

Title: SBS The World Game - The technology behind 35+ million page views in 4 weeks

Presenter: Tarrant Marshall (SBS)

Summary:

A high level introduction to how SBS has converted to Drupal over the past 2.5 years, including:

• multisite config

• theme framework

• asset management

• infrastructure & deployment

The World Game sub-site (World Cup mode), touching on

• Monitoring & 24 hour support

• Ingestion of Football data, including live matches

• Handling 3 million page views in a day

• Live & catch up football, everywhere

Similar to previous meetups, pizza and drinks will be provided and there will be drinks afterwards so if you don’t get a chance to ask questions at the session, there’ll be plenty of time to talk at the pub afterwards.

When: The presentation will start at 6.15pm, Arrive at 6pm to talk/meet up. Tue, 15th July 2014 (please be on time)
