BADCamp 2014. Nov 6 - 9

For those of you new to Drupal or Drupal camps, BADCamp is a gathering of like-minded people to discuss and learn about Drupal, an open-source content management system that is powering more of the web every year. BADCamp was inspired by BarCamp events and is powered by people like you. Come to share ideas, get involved in the community, and meet your online friends in person.

BADCamp is a FREE event put on by the people, for the people, and with the help of many generous sponsors.

At this year's event you can expect to see...
* Great talks, sessions, and Birds of a Feather gatherings
* FREE Drupal Training (deposit required)
* 4-day Core Developer Sprint
* 2-Day Front-End Drupal Summit
* 1-Day Higher Education Summit
* 1-Day Non-Profit Summit
* 1-Day Drupal DevOps Summit
* Drupal Game Night
* A BADCamp Party
* Food trucks
* Bike rentals
...and much much more!

Any idea where the BAD Camp party is this year?

Party at POFA

The Saturday Night Party will also be (if all goes well) at the Palace of Fine Arts. We still have some details to work out in order to keep the neighbors happy, but it's such a great space we'd like to make the most of it!

How can I sign up for one of the summits? Also, the description for the frontend summit says two days. Is it on Thursday & Friday (I only see it on Thursday)?

2-day front-end summit

jenlampton's picture

The front-end summit will be on two days, it's both Thursday and Friday this year. We'll try to clean up any confusion on the website.

You'll be able to sign up for summits soon! Our dev team is working on adding flags and opening up session submissions (as well as providing a few other goodies).

Sign up for our mailing list if you'd like to be notified when these features are launched on the website: http://eepurl.com/2TBlz

Thanks!

Thanks @Elijah Lynn,
We are making some DSN changes today.
Hopefully everything is alright again now, give it a bit to propagate and we'll see where we are.

Varnish cache MISS

elijah lynn's picture

I noticed that anonymous visits are passing through Varnish, thought I would let you know. Even when it gets to Drupal, Drupal isn't serving from cache (x-drupal-cache: MISS).
