I have a live COD site. We're using 6.x right now and I'm starting to work toward converting to 7.
I love the ticket module and how it separates out the registrant from registered. This is how many of my client's people register. (They ask their admin assistant to do it)
We also have many folks who are registering for themselves. Is there any plans for adding a feature where, if the ticket holder is the same person who is registering, it won't ask them for account information for the ticket holder. It doesn't seem to do anything with the second set of information anyway when the registrant and registered e-mail addresses are the same.
I think there should be the ability to just answer a question "Is this ticket (or one of these tickets) for you?" and if the answer is "yes", hide the "registered" pane for that one ticket and move on.
Any thoughts. Perhaps I'm missing something and it does this already?

Read the documentation
OK. I went back and read the documentation for the cod support modules. I found the toggle for "copy registration fields" and this takes care of my needs for now. Sorry for the silly post.
Talking to myself... "You were wrong" I say
So "copy registration fields" does not do what I thought. It still gives me the option to re-enter all profile data for myself after I told it that I am registering myself for the conference and it already told me that it had my data in the "registrant" pane. I am also getting an access denied message that makes no sense. So I'll test much more and perhaps isolate an issue.
Heya! Yes, this is

Yes, this is unfortunately a bug/feature request for the ticket module. Dyannenova is looking into providing some jQuery functions to allow ease of copying registration data when registering.
The 'copy registration fields' option is so you don't have to manually copy user profile data over to the registration fields. It'd be good to have better documentation around this!
