Social Media Privacy: how can we implement it in Drupal?

There are many facets to privacy.

One of the many that I would like to explore are ways to obscure your identify even if you use modules which connect to social networks or ways to notify end users if their privacy might be compromised. We could take a look at things like notifications.

Just wanted to start a discussion to see if this is important to anyone else?

From the context of notification my favourite one is the message stack: Message, Message Notify and Message subscribe.

More about obscuring ones identity?...

@SocialNicheGuru I must admit that obscuring ones identity is not one of my personal aims but I'd like to know more about what you want.

Of course we we'd the ability for people to filter who can see their content; and the ability to filter the content that we see. I feel that's more of a priority before we get into hiding identity. But I'd still like to know more.
