Support for Project Management Module

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hello there,

I would like to suggest a better support board or at least a centralized source of documentation. Actually, this module is under heavy developement - great! But there is simply no easy way to access any documentation, so I guess many will just give up on this module before unlocking the full potential of the module.

The User Guide: http://www.drupalpm.org/
Actually, the user guide is little more than a feature list. Even the readme doesn't help. There is simply no documenation for configuration. Because PM is quite complex to set up, there should be a better documenation, with screenshots, maybe a video tutorial or something. Because I do not have any deep knowledge of the module, I can't provide this.

Outdated Project Website
The links to youtube, google+, twitter are outdated, maybe the developer moved on to different projects, I don't know - should be improved.

Give Admin rights to demo user
Like other module demo websites, there should be a chance to preview the rights managmenet and config management for future pm admins. Right now you can only log in into the user role.

Tutorial Rights Management
This module is very powerful - but I personally can't even figure out how to show projects or tasks to a specific role. For example, as far as I understand, I can only let project owners or task owners see their own projects or tasks. On the other hand, the demo site demonstrates clearly, there is a possibility to show a project view to everyone. But how?

Thx in advance!

Kind regards
relain

Relain, You are 100% right

Relain,

You are 100% right that documentation needs work. But please be understanding when phrasing your comments that this is a volunteer project that is not funded - a Twitter account where the last Tweet was 8 days ago is NOT outdated, for example!

For module support on drupal.org, you should post a support request at http://drupal.org/project/issues/pm . This is our central issue tracker. I would suggest not contacting developers directly.

Regarding your question around rights management, Drupal PM uses the standard Drupal permissions system. Enable the PM Permission module (included as part of PM), then review the standard permission configuration page for Drupal.

If you still require assistance, please create a support request at http://drupal.org/project/issues/pm .
