Half a Day Core Sprint, Sunday Jan 18th 2015.
Location: Unimity Solutions Office, Kasi Arcade, T.Nagar, Chennai. Unimity Solutions!

Everyone is welcome; if you have built a site in Drupal, you can contribute. We will split into pairs and work on Drupal core issues. Bring your laptop. If possible, install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core. For new folks: you can get a head start also by making an account on Drupal.org and taking a look at the Drupal Ladder http://drupalladder.org/.

Those of you who came the last time on, you can discuss the issues worked on since then, share your experience climbing the Drupal ladder. Let's work on the core issue queues together!

Remember your laptop! Connect with me if you need support installing git & downloading Drupal 8 prior to the event.

The Drupal Sprint was held on January 18th,2015. The members in the meet were Gopi Vignesh M and Ramesh from #Innoppl, and Saravanakumar S,Sivaramakrishnan P and Arun Kumar from UniMity Solutions and Lakshmi Narasimhan.The entire process was guided by Shyamala R.
The contributions were :

  1. Lakshmi Narasimhan made contribution on several items in the Drupal Community

  2. Gopi Vignesh M worked on #NodeRevision (2389341)

3.Ramesh Kumar worked on Remove the "typography" CSS file in Bartik (2398447 )

  1. Saravana's contributions were
    Patch apply for Breadcrumbs for comment entity(2398075)-
    Breadcrumb of Comment entity.- Add new comment, Edit a comment and Delete a comment
    AND

      Apply patch to clean up the "help" component in Bartik(2408581)

  2. Sivaramakrishnan worked on Toolbar vertical orientation link not expanding to fill the space(2409427) where he tested patch for above task and updated the status in drupal site

  3. Arun Kumar worked for Drupal Core 8 Development on the area Review and Testing.
    Vertical Tab focus Issue on the Block Creation for the different browsers(2368373)
    Text font size Issue on Body field in CKEditor (Issue No:2350011)
    Reviewed two Issues(2350011 and 2368373) completed Testing on Different Browsers (Safari, Opera, IE 11, Chrome and Firefox on Windows Operating System)
