Our regular meetup is the third Tuesday of every month - currently rotating between ICF and Bixal in Fairfax.
Oscar Merida will be doing the following presentation:
Building with Virtual Development Environments
Struggling with getting Apache, MySQL, PHP and everything else you need to start working on your next project? In this talk, we'll look at how to use Vagrant to setup a reusable development environment for Drupal. Vagrant automates setting it up so you can focus on getting work done, share identical environments with colleagues, and precisely match your local and production environments.
Oscar Merida is the Editor-in-chief of php[architect] magazine. He's worked with Drupal since version 4.7 for various non-profits, D.C. United, and government agencies.
We hope to see you there! This month we are meeting at Bixal, located in Oakton, VA at the intersection of 123 (Chain Bridge Rd.) and Jermantown Rd., just off the 123 exit of 66 and roughly a couple of miles from the Vienna/Fairfax metro station on the Orange Line.
