2007-06-25 18:30 - 20:00 US/Pacific Several people at the June PDX Drupal meeting seemed interested in hearing more about the Bus Project's tech needs -- especially how we're using Drupal, and what changes we'd like to make to our Drupal site(s) as we go forward.
We have a standing Tech Team meeting on the forth Monday of each month, which means the next meeting will be June 25th, at Bus HQ (333 SE 2nd, the same spot as the Drupal meeting). If you're interested, we'd love to have you come help the Bus Project explore the area at the intersection between participatory politics and technology.

i'm a Bus member & volunteer
i've gone on a number of trips with the Bus; it's a great organization. i'm also a drupal user, having done 6 Drupal campaign sites last year and just getting Oregon for Obama off the ground. sadly, i won't be in Pdx this Monday; i would have loved to have come. but Drupal is such a fantastic tool for any person or group wanting to get their message out into the world and to organize online; it's great this is happening. they've just got Politicorps started, so their may be extra help/energy in that direction.
