CMI initiative(One of the most anticipated feature of Drupal 8):
This session would cover: Different types of information available on the Drupal site. How CMI has made configuration in Drupal 8 easier to manage and deploy. How configuration management and deployment was done in the earlier versions of Drupal and will be contrasted with how it will be done now. How CMI eliminates the need of some contributed modules like features, strongarm, ctools etc to deploy configuration over multiple instances of Drupal and different types of configuration in D8 and how it works.
