Migrate Module experience?

Does anyone have experience using the Migrate module or Feeds module to migrate CCK file fields from a Drupal 6 site to a Drupal 7 site?

We currently use the Feeds module to partially handle this file transfer requirement, but Feeds does not natively handle a file's Title field. We also use the Migrate module to pull in most other node data from D6 to D7, but Migrate does not seem to handle CCK file fields out of the box.

We are willing to write custom code ourselves to do so, but we would prefer to get a jump start by either a) hiring someone to do this for us (preferred) or b) giving us a solid starting point if someone has already written code to do this.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
