Hi Everyone!

We found and fixed a moderately critical security vulnerability in Panopoly Magic (the module which provides the live previews). You can learn more in the security advisory:

SA-CONTRIB-2015-047 - Panopoly Magic - Cross Site Scripting (XSS)

Beyond the security update, this release also includes a couple of small bug fixes.

For more information, please see the full release notes:

https://www.drupal.org/node/2429039

Remember: you have to update the WHOLE profile - not just the individual panopoly_* modules! Otherwise, you'll be missing important module updates/patches, and it isn't guarenteed to work.

For full instructions on how to upgrade, please see the new Upgrading Panopoly guide! (We invite you to help us improve it as well.)

And, of course, you can find links to download, documentation and report problems on the Panopoly project page:

Thanks!

Contact module in Panopoly

ptocco's picture

I apologize if this question belongs on the Contact module page, but here goes. My Drupal 7 Panopoly dev site has only partial email functionality and I'm trying to troubleshoot it. For that I need to enable the core's Contact form. However, I noticed Panopoly has the Contact module turned off by default. Also there is no default /contact page. (The Contact module docs assumes this page is exists.) I cannot seem to find a way to create a contact page even though I enabled the Contact module. I'm just wondering why Panopoly would disable this core contact page and whether there is a better alternative for a Panopoly contact page. I really don't need the core's contact page other than to test the core mail function.

Any tips would be most appreciated.

thanks

I found the Contact page by

I found the Contact page by going to /?q=admin/structure/contact, which a link to the default contact page:

Add one or more categories on this page to set up your site-wide contact form.

The actual contact page is:

/?q=contact

not "/contact".

I tested the form and it works. Now to find out why Webform isn't sending mail.

Thanks

Panopoly
