You may have noticed in a few other groups that I'm teaching two online workshops starting next week. The workshops are being taught online "at your own pace." Each week there will be some reading and activities for you to complete. It's really hard to coordinate schedules with participants around the world so there is no "live" component to these workshops. But the reality is that I'm in Wellington RIGHT NOW. If you register for the workshop(s) I'd be happy to do a couple of face-to-face help sessions to answer any additional questions you have about the workshops.

The workshops are:

  • Design to Theme in Five In this workshop you will learn how to convert graphic files to completed themes. Perfect for designers who've yet to create their first theme, and those who are looking for best practices and a few more tips. An understanding of HTML and CSS is required; no PHP experience necessary. http://www.designtotheme.com/workshops/design-theme-five
  • PHP for Designers By the end of this online course participants will be using PHP and creating Drupal-specific functions to customize their themes. http://www.designtotheme.com/workshops/php-designers

If you've got any additional questions about the workshops, I'd be happy to answer them. I look forward to seeing you at DrupalSouth this weekend!

NB: Pricing is in Canadian dollars. As of right now it translates to approximately $165NZD for a five week course.

I hadn't realized that only Canada and the US were enabled in Ubercart. If you tried to register and couldn't, please do try again. The registration should now be open to everyone from all countries! Workshops start this week.

PS It was Great to meet everyone at DrupalSouth this weekend. Thanks to Natasha and Bevan for putting on such a fantastic event.
