Tweaking Forms Without Code

Matthew Elton will give a demo and code tour of a sandbox module he's built to allow for a range of tweaks to Drupal node add/edit forms to be deployed without code. The module provides options for conditionally adding validation rules to to node add/edit forms and conditionally adding other modifications to the form, e.g. hiding fields from users with or without given roles. This to allows an 'end configurer' to set up validation and other form customisation, globally or on a per role basis. For sites with many editors - and editors with different roles - a module like this has the potential to provide a helpful additional level of control. And for any site, it also provide a very fast way of adding in some basic validation.
