Greetings from Drupal Drinks Edinburgh! You join us live at the Villager on George IV Bridge where we are discussing ideas for sessions for the forthcoming Drupal Camp.

  • panels/display suite/context round table discussion: heated debate (yet again!) on this topic has raised the idea that a freeform discussion session might be amusing/interesting/informative. With audience participation (heckling?) of course!

Drupal Scotland Awarded DA Community Cultivation Grant

Drupal Scotland has just been awarded a $1500 grant (just under £1k) from the Drupal Association to support Scotland's third DrupalCamp, due to be held in May 2012 (dtbc). This will be a 2 day event with a presentation/networking event (aimed at business, government and higher education), a 'Hello Drupal' event for complete beginners, and a multi-session DrupalCamp event for all. The grant will be used for venue hire and other costs with the goal of raising enough additional sponsorship for the event to be free to attend.
