User group meeting
The Santa Cruz Drupal Users Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 in downtown Santa Cruz at NextSpace (http://nextspace.us).
Updated to reflect comments below:
Kristen Pol will be presenting her session on "Drupal Galleries Using Dynamic Display Block (DDBlock)" from the Stanford Design4Drupal camp.
Julia v. will add her solution for a simple gallery.
I'd also like to welcome all to help plan out the next 2 or 3 months: subjects for discussion, anyone we might like to invite to speak to us, etc.
Thanks, and I look forward to seeing everyone!

Presentations
For February, we could do a review of the Stanford camp and/or I could present the image gallery talk.
For April, I will probably have a talk I can do on whatever session of mine gets picked for DrupalCon SF.
Not sure about March.

Image Gallery Talk
I promised all the Santa Cruz folks that I'd give the gallery talk in the February meeting, so you may want to update the info above to mention something about it. Details are available here:
http://www.kristen.org/content/drupal-galleries-using-dynamic-display-bl...
The presentation takes about an hour, so we will still have time to discuss the cool things we saw at the camp as well.

Thanks Kristen for your Image
Thanks Kristen for your Image gallery talk at Stanford... I look forward to hearing it again, even. :)
We were talking about making simple galleries that the client can add easily with their custom title. I did figure out a nice way to do this with Lightbox2, ImageFUpload and Views- not fancy, but it works how I needed it to!
I don't mind sharing this information as a post script to your talk if people would like. It won't be earth shattering or anything, but I was certainly happy to come up with a solution!
Cheers,
Julia

Thanks to both of you for offering to share this information at our next meeting - I've updated the announcement to reflect that.
Cheers,
Gary
Time?
I noticed the time is set for 7:30... shouldn't it be 7pm? I thought that was our "normal" time (though either time works for me.
