Hi All!
We're starting to get to the time of the year when the various Midwest DrupalCamps are opening up their registration.
What's the plan for DrupalCamp Wisconsin this year?
I'd love to set aside time to attend and to propose a session, but I don't have the infos. :-)
Thanks!
David.

Initial notes doc
nmillin directed me to: https://groups.drupal.org/node/460588#comment-1095248 where xjm has linked a doc to notes made between the two.
I know I'm looking forward to info, as I'd like to offer up a sponsorship.
Ah, sweet, thanks!

Preferred 2015 WI camp dates
If it's not clear from the Google doc, I believe our preference for dates this year is:
1st choice: July 10-11 (Friday/Saturday)
2nd choice: July 17-18 (Friday/Saturday)
3rd choice: Aug 7-8 (Friday/Saturday)
...with the deciding factor largely being availability of the space we have used for previous camps. I believe we have someone checking on that availability and hope to nail the dates down soon.
space
Yeah. We hope to hear back about space availability this week. Then we can move forward...
I had a tour of the Central
I had a tour of the Central Library today. Aug 7-8 is available, but the other dates are booked. I have updated Planning DC-WI 2015 Google Doc with notes and a link to photos of the rooms.
The downtown library would definitely work for the camp and the rooms are beautiful. I'm not sure if we would get more or less people being at a different venue than the Pharmacy building. Something to discuss if the Pharmacy building is available.

PS - personally I'm not a fan of Aug 7-8 because I have a conflict so I wouldn't be able to be at the camp much.
August
August may end up working best for me this year.
I'm planning on being out of the country this summer for 3 weeks, so July may be tough.
+1 central library
Another group I work with held an event at the central library last year, and the facility and staff were great.
Proximity to food and drink are another plus.
just my 2 cents worth
I think the library sounds like it would be a nice change of pace - particularly since it moves us downtown, and in a little more visible spot. Looking forward to it as always.

The new library is so nice,
The new library is so nice, especially if you are familiar with the old one. :) What kind of space are you looking for? How many people does it need to hold? Does it need to be free, etc? I can think of a couple of places that might work, but there is most likely an event fee to rent the space.
Library
The library has been a great venue for the meetups, and it'd be a nice location for the camp. I'm happy to help with getting the camp website up and running, @nmillin. I'll be out of the country in the first half of summer so late July or August work best for me for timing. Like David, I've got a session I'd like to propose.
Hey folks, some familiar
Hey folks, some familiar faces in here :)
Was a final date/location ever settled on for a summer Wisconsin Drupalcamp?
Good question. No final date,
Good question. No final date, but come to the Downtown library on April 30th (next Thursday) at 6:30pm to help plan it if you can. For more information https://groups.drupal.org/node/466963
