Last few months DrupalCAP team has been working hard to establish the base of Drupal Campus Ambassador program. We have been meeting every week to discuss on Vision / Objective of the program , Execution mechanism, Resource requirement, Volunteer and Regional Drupal leadership support, Collaboration with Educational institutions and Drupal organization, raising funds etc. Details of the meetings are shared at - http://goo.gl/xf8zCl, We are now very close to launch the pilot phase of DrupalCAP, which will include 2 engineering isntitutions in regions where Drupal regional Community is active. Details of the pilot phase will be shared soon.
We need some dedicated and passionate Drupalers to join DrupalCAP and take up the roles and responsibilities to drive this program. We have are looking to engage with community members for following roles
- Social media promotion / Outreach coordinator - Someone who can help establish connection with educational institutions / Drupal organizations, help promote event through social media
- Content and Digital Asset creation - Some one who is good at creative writing, blogging, who can help with creating different collaterals and digital assets for DrupalCAP.
- Strategy and Planning - Experienced person , having good connections in Education sector, driving non profit / social projects , had past experience with strategy and planning.
- Creative & Design - Someone who have good hands at Design, and can help create graphics for DrupalCAP.

Drupal in a Day Camp in Government College, Dharamshala
We conducted a Drupal in a Day Camp in Government College Dharamshala.
It was to MCA Students of 2nd and 4th Semesters. The faculty were nice to arrange projector and screens. The LAN was also good.
We started with the presentation of our Company, then explained how websites are built, the concept of Content Management Systems and Drupal.
Then we did a hands-on installation of WAMP, XAMP and Drupal.
We then proceeded to show the basics of articles, publishing, admin panel and module installs.
In general, we received good interest from the faculty and students.
The faculty requested us to do this more often.

Learn Drupal in day at Brindavan College of Engineering
Valuebound conducted ‘Drupal in a Day’ workshop at Brindavan College of Engineering on August 11, 2015.
The one day workshop comprised of one hour awareness sessions and four hours of hands on learning about installing and configuring Drupal, an open source content management system. The response from students and faculties were encouraging throughout the session
Brindavan College of Engineering’s Management extended their full support to our one day workshop. The workshop witnessed an attendance of more than 160 pupils from B Tech and MCA Final Year. The session has reportedly impressed professors and students in Computer Science faculty, as they openly expressed their desire to take up Internship project on Drupal CMS.
After the completion of workshops, many lecturers and students asked about a possible internship and project which can be given by on various Drupal companies.
