Announcing a very Special Guest Andrey Postnikov, Comment Module maintainer. He is here tomorrow to share with us and motivate us to participate in Drupal Core.
Everyone is welcome; if you have built a site in Drupal, you can contribute. We will split into pairs and work on Drupal core issues. Bring your laptop. If possible, install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core. For new folks: you can get a head start also by making an account on Drupal.org and taking a look at the Drupal Ladder http://drupalladder.org/.
Those of you who came the last time on, you can discuss the issues worked on since then, share your experience climbing the Drupal ladder. Let's work on the core issue queues together!
Remember your laptop! Connect with me if you need support installing git & downloading Drupal 8 prior to the event.

Chennai user group was not very active at g.d.o, so it very interesting to do a kind of meetup more regular.
PS: Is there a plan for issues to attack/fix?

Some steps taken in that direction:
1. have a monthly meetup, preferably on the 3rd saturday each month.
2. build an organization structure for Chennai chapter so that the responsibilities are shared among the various members.
3. aim for a Drupal camp Chennai around October 2015
