I'd like to schedule a meetup for Savannah-area Drupal users this summer. Please share your thoughts on your level of interest, subject matter you'd like to see discussed, when you might be available, etc...Thanks!

Probably more like a recurring meetup for starters. I think we should let presentation content and attendance drive the schedule over time, but for starters just try to do a single meetup sometime during the work week this summer. I'm making you a group admin as well :)

If it's a recurring meetup, I like the idea of a different attendee each meeting doing a quick demo of something they've created. Possible location: I hear the Guild Hall welcomes geeky meetups.

That's a great idea on both of those points. Let's try to get a few more folks to say 'I'm in' and then move to finding a time and date. Over time, it'd be great to bring guest speakers from the greater SE region and expand topics to Drupal 8 discoveries & concepts as well.

Guild Hall would be a great venue. We had a Spotted get-together there a month or so ago. They're pretty cheap, too.

Meeting Announcement
The first Savannah Drupal user group meeting will be held June 23rd at 6pm at the Guild Hall, in the Atrium meeting room. There is a parking lot on MLK and Gaston street connected to the Chromatic Dragon and Guild Hall.
For the first meeting, David and I are thinking:
1) Introductions
2) Module of the Month (Features + Drush for distributed team development)
3) Presentation: scad.edu backend CMS tools
4) Discussion / Q&A, planning for future meetups
