Short talk about the highlights of the event, hosting two BOFs:

My take-a-way moments were 3-fold...

So much fun and learning to be had at a DrupalCon!

Minimalist Drupal

I would be interested in having a discussion on the concept of Minimalist Drupal development. This is a concept I have talked about at recent camps in session, There is a Module for That. Don't Use it! and on the Modules Unraveled Podocast.

In Drupal development when you have a new need on your site you are often told "There is a module for That!". While the availability of thousands of free modules on Drupal.org is great, it can lead to sites with hundreds of modules enabled. In this session we will look at ways to avoid this on your site.

This topic seems to start good discussions at camps. I have some simple modules that demonstrate some of the concepts. I would like to get feedback or you know here why I am wrong.
