The Seacoast Drupal User Group is having it's July 2015 meetup on Thursday, the 9th in Portsmouth, NH.

Please sign up and leave any questions or comments on the Meetup.com page.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that all companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Essentially anyone who sells anything online needs to be aware of the standards and what is required of them to keep customers' data safe.

Version 3.0 of the new standards became effective in January; however, businesses were allowed an extra 6 months to incorporate several requirements, which makes this an appropriate topic for our July meetup.

After starting off with sustenance and drinks, we will have a presentation about PCI in general followed by some Drupal-specific PCI considerations.
