Please join us for a low-key evening of chatting at The Sports Grill. Perhaps Gregg will be back from Barcelona and we can ask him what it was like?
We'll be kicking off regular Drupal meet ups starting in October, either the last Monday or Tuesday of the month.

I would like to try to connect in the future.
Barring any weirdness, I should be in the Albany area in October onward. I am looking to start a job with NY state, involved with Drupal, and I want to try to connect. I hope I can make future meetings, wherever they are.

Hi Richard,
Welcome! Hopefully you can join us at our Albany area user group meetings. They are rather informal and we are just gearing up for the fall/winter batch of meetings. We usually meet once a month - currently Monday or Tuesday, usually in downtown Albany at the offices of two generous local companies: Zone 5 and Upstate Collective.
We should hopefully have more information on the October gathering soon.
As for other resources, the discussion which happens on this group page (in addition to the meet-ups) is probably one of the best local resources. There are also some nice regional Drupal Camps (NERD, Ned, Design 4 Drupal, Cornell and NYCCamp off of the top of my head).
