DrupalCon Discussion and Introductions (20 minutes): Talk about who's going and what's happening at DrupalCon San Francisco.
Lightning Rounds (11 5-minutes presentations): Show off what you've done with Drupal! Your presentation should:
- Be web-accessible. No time for changing machines!
- Provide a brief overview of the site
- Demo a single feature you want to highlight
- Be accompanied by a list of modules used in the feature and, optionally, the site.
Reserve your spot with a brief description of the feature in the comments.
DrupalPDX (15 minutes - jhedstrom and eliza411): We're exploring using DrupalPDX year-round to encourage active participation in our user group and support the Portland Drupal community. We'll talk about the general ideas and next steps.
Logistics
We meet at the OpenSourcery offices at 1636 NW Lovejoy St. Portland, OR 97209. NOTE: Please be aware that the developers at OpenSourcery will be working right up to event time. We ask that you arrive no earlier than 5:50pm. Thank you!
After the presentation finishes we'll walk over to the Lucky Lab NW for food and drink.

I can show how we used Menu
I can show how we used Menu Node API to structure and display content on a Domain Access powered site (http://www.emergencyzone.org).

Seems that I might completely lose my voice by the end of the day so there might be no talking for me tonight:(
ddblock
I can show some examples of this relatively new image cycler nodule that is integrated with Views, so that you can, for example, have a imagefield node with a CCK field with a URL in it. The cycler cycles through what Views feeds it, and the url text field can be a link on a "read more" box over the image. Many other fancy things available. I can't create an example in 5 minutes, but can show some examples and talk about what it takes to use it - as long as I can use somebody else's computer, which seems to be the plan.
Sounds great. I just want to
Sounds great. I just want to reassure you that the intent is not to teach anyone how to build anything during the five minutes, just to demo what you've done and provide the requisite modules.
Acquia Prosper 5-minute theme overview
I can provide a quick 5-minute overview of the new Acquia Prosper theme and show the below sites that have been created using Acquia Prosper as a base. Acquia Prosper is a highly-configurable theme made specifically for Ubercart sites, but it is also a great general theme to use as a base for creating custom sites.
All of these sites are based on Acquia Prosper:

WCCLS content_type_library in 5 minutes
I can describe how we went from several static pages all related to a library to a single node displayed in a variety of ways. I could also point out the modules which had to be used and highlight those where the dev version was needed.

Drupal and Music
I can describe how we are using Drupal for our grassroots social movement, Fair Trade Music http://www.fairtrademusicpdx.org. I can also share how I use it to manage music for the internal workings of a band.
Thanks so much for the offers!
Perhaps I should have mentioned that I didn't create the websites that I'm attempting to correct?!
As the broadcast ministry leader, I've inherited the websites, and the IT responsibilities here on the campus, but my skill set is in journalism, and broadcast management, and not web site development. So, having said that, I did receive some great ideas, and I'm prepared to implement a few, but, I'll need someone to provide, step by step instruction.
Please advise...

I am going to attempt to
I am going to attempt to prepare a short, on the web, demo of Drush 3 and the new Drush remote features which include syncing databases, deploying code to remote servers, and running drush commands on remote servers.
I can demo a frontpage slideshow in 3min
I can show how we created a frontpage gallery on two dynamic brochure sites for small businesses on a budget, using stock themes, and views.
If there's time, I'll show
If there's time, I'll show Solar 4R Schools and go into a few details about how the site pulls live data from schools with solar panels/wind generators.

I could do a quick bit on how
I could do a quick bit on how Drupal handled the load thrown at MercyCorps.org during the flood of traffic we received following the Haiti quake.
Personal fundraising page would be the most interesting single feature to talk about.
