This would be a great one, i think i would have liked to but the location of my probable venue may be far from town. Let me see if anyone is willing to host it. And i would also like to be directed to resources that may be needed to host it. Like things or activities that we be done ETC.

In return, may I suggest that as the Ugandan core contributor, you do a presentation on how that process went? What did you have to do to get there? Where do you start as a young ambitious programmer who wants to get involved with a big project like Drupal?
And then for the group: what does Drupal Uganda have to do to make sure in Drupal 8.1 there are more Ugandan Drupal Core contributors?

dcmul, can you kindly respond to batje's suggestions? we are ready for you and i have created an event and the venue will be confirmed by Tuesday next week. But definitely the event will be there. Please can the community contribute ideas to what we will look at? I have seen several other countries have great ideas for 2016. Can we do the same? or do we just come meet and have fun?
