Where are we meeting after tomorrow's meeting? Anyone have ideas?
I just received a notice that Tech Life Columbus is having a social at Fados Irish Pub in Easton (www.fadoirishpub.com) the same night. It is 10 miles away from the downtown library, Next to the Cheesecake factory and Barnes & Nobles. It might be beneficial to hit up the same bar after our meeting is over, their thing starts at 6:30, we wouldn't get there till 8:30, so it's not like we would be party crashing.

Either way, it might be nice to have the after hours location decided before the meeting and posted on here, complete with directions, so people can plan accordingly. I thought last month's impromtu gathering was lots of fun. I would like to see us do it more often.
Weather:
How is the weather effecting peoples decision to attend? If it gets bad enough, there is a chance they may close the library (just spoke with them), check http://www.columbuslibrary.org/ before departing.
Sign:
The sign on the podium is 18in x 18in, I suggest we make a CODUG logo mounted on foamboard that we can hang over it, just because it looks good in the photos or videos of the meeting.

great ideas
those are some great ideas.

how much would a color sign cost? does anyone know of a printing company that could give us a good deal?
Weather:
I was driving today around 4pm and the highways were in excellent condition. Unless we get spanked with another 8 inches or so, I couldn't imagine the library closing. I'll find out if there are any closures tomorrow and send an email blast out to everyone.
Pub:
I was planning on proposing Mongolian BBQ on Marconi. They have great drink specials all night long: $2 for beers and $4 for well drinks. They are also handicap accessible, which was requested by Sharon Palmer. The only downside is that they are not a late-night joint. They technically close at 10pm, but I couldn't imagine them kicking us out if we're buying stuff.
