Hi,
my company is setting up training courses to teach Drupal in Edinburgh. In order to reach out to a wider audience and to get the word out about Drupal we are organizing two free sessions this week, one on Friday and one on Saturday. The venue is on London Road, close to Leith walk/Abbeymound.
We will be covering basics, ranging from site use cases to how to install, administer and manage your content in Drupal. Obviously we won't be able to cover every possible Drupal topic in the 3 hours we have got, but I'll be there to answer any questions you might have. More information and subscription is available here: http://longlake.co.uk/open-day
Please help us spreading the word, so we can grow the Drupal community.

Starting to feel comfortable with the whole thing now...
I am glad you liked it. It
I am glad you liked it. It was unfortunate that we didn't specify target groups, this was an important lesson for later courses.
Damn - missed it!
The intro course sounds great - but unfortunately I couldn't make it. Are you planning to run any more free courses?
yes
Yepp, we are. Probably first week of March, we are still digesting the feedback and what we learned on the open days. Basically at the moment we are planning to have two open sessions for distinctively different skill levels (complete beginner - from zero to how to build a basic site and "I know Drupal, but show me the cool stuff", views, cck, drush, useful, development and so on).
Great
... thanks for the reply snufkin. I'll keep an eye out for the new course dates.
