Dear fellow Jedis and Padawans,
we live in dark times. The Review Bonus queue is currently peaking at 37 issues and many new contributors are suffering. The ever expanding empire is luring them to the dark side where there is chaos, anarchy and security vulnerabilities in unreviewed code. The Jedi council is weakened, we are caught in politics such as client projects.
It is time to rise again. We need to turn to our novice contributors and padawans, we need to show them the force of collaboration and the power of correct Drupal API usage. We need to resist the call of Darth Webchick to pull out our laser swords and just destroy the barrier to publish modules on drupal.org without any restriction.
You and anyone can fight for our cause: we have a plan to lower the barrier for our new contributors, we need someone to use the coding force to improve drupal.org. We also want to keep our Jedi Review Bonus program, so you can help by reviewing project applications. This is the path of light, and at some point it will lead you to be a Jedi master yourself and sit with us at the Jedi council. No Sith lord will be able to exploit security holes in your code because you will have the force to avoid them. This has worked for Master naveenvalecha, Master mpdonadio, Master er.pushpinderrana, Master heddn, Master Ayesh and many others.
I know we have the moral support of Master Yoda, but he is busy writing decoupled blog posts and preparing Drupalcon keynotes.
