The agenda is open. Show off your Drupal sites , get solutions from others, and if possible lets build a website for Charity
Suggest a place, date , preferably weekend/holiday,. how abt feb 14?
I m new to hyd,. Chennai has a very active Drupal community,. Hope its the same here..

A wonderful morning with Drupalers
Hi All,
My day started of pretty well today. :) I want to thank you all who came froward for the Offline Meet. We had so much fun and made some strategy for next meetups & workshop too.
I would request Siva to post the MoM in details & the List of Attendees.
I was over whelmed to see 20 odd people today who were there for Drupal and I'm thankful to Swecha for organizing the event.
This is just the beginning guys, We have promises to keep, And miles to go before We sleep.

Hyderabad Drupal Meet 2010 Meeting Minutes
Thank you Ipsita for your prompt feedback. Thank you all others too who made this meet a wonderful experience for us. Also i regret absence of Ratnamala, Saitanay & Vidhatanand. Anyways we have lot more meets planned in future, so we expect everyone's active participation in building Drupal community in Hyderabad.
Attending: Ashok, Prajwala, Asif, JVSMurthy, Sarath, Mahesh, Medhamsh, Ipsita, Rahman, Satish, Ramraju, Bharath, Srujan, Roshan, Sandeep, Sudeepkodavati, Hari, Siva

Agenda of the Meeting:
1. Create a pool for Drupal resources
2. Organize a workshop
3. Create a Portal to co-ordinate all activities
4. Setup a Wiki, Bazaar & Mailing list
5. Work on Localisation of Drupal
Minutes:
1. Sarath discussed role of Swecha in Free software community. Medhamsh elaborated about projects taken up by Swecha(Swecha - Telugu OS, E-Swecha - Engineers, Bala Swecha - School goers) which include mostly about customisation of Debian GNU/Linux for different set of audiences. He also hinted about Pagination project which would be a alternative for Adobe pagemaker.
2. Rahman mentioned about the lack of Drupal resources available in the city and how his company is willing to support the community activities for building a pool of Drupal resources
3. Ipsita stated her interest of helping people out with Drupal and was in search of a platform where she could reach out to the people.
4. Prajwala discussed about her contributions to Facebook live stream, Accordion blocks & Twitter search feeds modules.
5. Asif mentioned about contributions made by their company Azri to Drupal community
6. Sarath suggested to organise a Drupal Workshop which would educate the community and create a platform for people willing to share their knowledge & experiences regarding Drupal
7. It was decided that the workshop would be conducted for two audiences. One is the beginners and the other would the Developers/Contributors. Also the sessions for both audiences maybe conducted in a parallel fashion.
8. Asif suggested the workshop to be conducted in 4 days(Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) packed with 10 sessions with 2 Hours of duration for each session. (Session would contain 1 hour of presentation and 1 of Hands-on experience)
9. Asif hinted that a Noise should be created which would impact the importance of the Workshop in Hyderabad and will attract more people who use Drupal. The impact would be the launch of the portal http://www.drupalhyderabad.com
10. It was decided that the portal would host the case studies of Drupal websites, forums, etc. Asif suggested to put up a mailing list and the IRC channel #drupal-hyderabad and the portal http://drupalhyderabad.com to be actively used to follow up all future correspondence
11. All the work on the portal will be worked out by students and the Industry people will review & mentor the developers. Proper documentation of the whole work will be updated in a wiki and will be synced using Bazaar. Asif stood for maintaining the Wiki at groups.drupal.org and suggested the work of the portal to be taken up as a sprint.
12. Asif & Prajwala took the responsibility to co-ordinate the Workshop
13. Rahman offered to sponsor for the workshop
14. Sandeep said that he would mobilise students from colleges for the workshop
15. Roshan suggested to contact the people who are associated with institution websites, and also dig up contacts with faculty and System admins
16. It was decided that by the end of this week the session schedule be finalized
17. Prajwala hinted about role of Druplicon bot and suggested that such bot be placed in the IRC channel. Medhamsh suggested the bot functionality to help the beginners who would be new to the channel & the community
18. Siva was assigned to co-ordinate between students & Industry people for the portal
19. Ipsita mentioned her contributions to Oriya localisation of Drupal and suggested a similar one to be taken up for Telugu. Sarath promised to inform some Infy Oriya employees to contribute Oriya translations. Sarath also hinted the Telugu translations to be taken up as a Sprint.
20. At last we had a fun part of discussing Work environments of offices, skits, etc. Siva suggested that the future meets should concentrate more on activities & fun which would the weekend more energetic & loving.
This meet really filled my energy meters and made me reason new virtues and ideas for building a robust community. I really appreciate the amount of enthusiasm filled in the people who attended the meet.

i had been offline since 3 days and dint get a chance to visit this thread either,.
today(sunday) morning i open this thread to see the venue address,. looks like i missed it yesterday,.
infact i had moved some of my sundays appts to next weekend to be able to attend this meet,.
