Add URL Controls to a View

Not sure what I'm looking for is even possible so if you have any ideas please let me know.

What I'm trying to achieve can probably best be shown by example. On my IGO web site I've superimposed a "grid" over Iowa and created a Mapstraction view showing the geocahes that occur within selected grid squares. I use a pair of arguments in the URL to this view to specify which grid(s) to filter.

This link shows what I want to achieve.
http://igo.tamatoledo.org/map_caches_by_grid/65%2C66%2C67%2C68/65%2C66%2...
This link should take you to a page where I'm showing data from a collection of 16 grid squares. But I got here by selecting a grid point from another map then editing the arguments in the resulting URL to expand my filter.

The initial URL that I specified was http://igo.tamatoledo.org/map_caches_by_grid/65/65, but that grid square (65.65) was empty so I needed to expand it.

What I'd really like to have is a set of controls built into this view (maybe in the view header?) which would allow the user to move or expand the grid list for them so that manually editing the URL is not required.

Any suggestions?
