Welcome to 2016! This month we take a look at Drupal 8 core themes and we will also be building a Drupal Quiz. Who will come out on top?
One of our aims for this year is to bring you something fresh about Drupal 8 every meetup. This month Magda will review the Classy and Stable themes in Drupal 8.
We are also looking to shift the focus of the group to be more participatory. We are kicking this off in a fun way by putting together a QuizUp quiz for release to the community. Together we will work on a mini project together with the aim of releasing and announcing the quiz at the end of the evening.

Drupal 8 Core Themes by Magda Kostrzewa
Magda will walk us through the core themes in Drupal 8 (Classy and Stable) will examine the similarities and differences between the two.
Drupal Quiz by All of Us
We'll work together as a team to come up with a battery of quiz questions which we will compile into a QuizUp quiz. We will review and test the questions and release the quiz to the wider community at the end of the night. Please BYOD and prepare a few questions and answers in advance.
NB. QuizUp is a very popular web based quiz engine which sees individuals vying for national and international dominance. It is very addictive.

In the end we got 80 questions covering a variety of areas. At the end of the evening pameeela was in front with Alistair and Elliot not far behind.
