Hi folks,
Happy 2016! Hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years. Sorry I couldn't make the last meet-up.
I've seen that the website has been updated to the new dates but other than that I've not seen any updates. I though I'd put a date out so we can get started on discussing the logistics for the next DCB. Hope you can make it and we can get this ball rolling again.

I'm going to have to bow out of any really meaningful hands-on support for this year's DrupalCamp Brighton. On the weekend of the Camp I'll be running speaker bootcamps for next large ThinkNation event (Westminster, July 2)... and given how the first one went, I'll be working full tilt on it from May onwards. I'm gutted. (I'm also not able to make this eve's meeting due to client conference call). However, I'd like to come along to future meetings to see if I can help in anyway. Really sorry again. Look forward to hearing updates.

Kev and I met up before Chirstmas for a quick chat about it - I was meant to write up notes on here about what was discussed but I totally forgot...
I'm not able to make it tonight but thought I would help with some directions to take :
*Venue - booked
*Date - 18th / 19th June
*Ticket prices - thoughts?
*Website - need a plan of action - will it stay on COD etc?
*Sponsors - Richard and Alick were main points of contact to sponsors last year - I wonder if you have time to have a look
*Print - I wonder if FMG would be up for sponsoring this again...
*Food - getting quote from JoJo's
*Speakers - start pushing for speakers
*Marketing - promoting it and pushing through social media and word of mouth
Kev and I were saying about main prios - sponsorship and ticket sales going up - who's in agreement?
Anyways- I hope you have a good meetup and sorry I can't make it.

We also discussed having a Brighton Group site that would act as a static site throughout the year with an event site/sub-section.
