Hi all,

As you know we have a DrupalCamp Brighton coming up in June and we have very limited resources for getting stuff done and we need your help.

For Friday we discussed doing a half-day introductory training and half day business-type event along with providing space for sprints but currently we will have to drop this if we don't get more hands on deck. I realise often this is just a case of us asking so... we're asking! Remember also we don't have a Drupal if we don't have sprints, plus it will attract top Drupal talent from London and around the world.

We need help in lots of areas, from the website to printing, publicity, getting sponsorship, and of course on the weekend itself.

I unfortunately am being evicted from my flat and am moving out of Brighton (digital nomad time!), but I'll still be helping online and I'll be back around for the event.

We have an online teamspace for the organisation so make yourself heard here on the forum and Kev will add you to the system.

Thx Steve - apart from people to help on the day we urgently need:

  • someone to manage sponsorship packages and liaison
  • someone to promote ticket sales
  • someone to organise merchandise/t-shirts/stickers etc

I'd be in Brighton for 3 days starting today and look forward to meeting people to discuss any contribution we can have like sponsorship, volunteer etc. Anybody available to meet/connect?

I've just got back from visiting family & got a flat to pack & would probably be more beneficial for you to meet up with someone who's going to be around more but not sure if Kev or anyone else is around.

Would be good for more local companies to get involved, I hear quite a few use Drupal these days ;)
