Modules, that were under work at Drupal.org Power up first phase 08 Dec 2015 - 01 March 2016.

We're happy to announce our results of the first month of working on drupal.org modules within the initiative of Ukrainian Community.

Initiative

What does that “initiative” mean? Don't be scared, it’s pretty simple. As you may know, Ukrainian Community is one of the most active and powerful communities in the world. It implies that we have a lot of projects where community members need help. “What is the difference from usual drupal.org workflow?” you may ask.

  • You have quick access to module mainteiners and their knowledge
  • You can quickly get review/approval from module maintainer
  • Perfect beginning for novices

In addition there are a lot of benefits that you can get in this initiative:

  • Novices can get their first commits to drupal projects
  • Senior/Middle developers can increase their commits counters
  • Experts can improve their skills in architecture
  • PM’s get new expirience on managing open source projects
  • All of us get our first experience in Drupal 8!

The whole process is pretty simple, and if you aren’t familiar with it, our members will help you.

Members

The number of members in our initiative is growing. They are not just regular developers. There are mentors and teamleaders, owners of web-studios and development companies, designers, managers and many other active participants among us.

  • Started to scan commits stats (sum of own and attributed to somebody else)
  • Scan comments stats at drupal.org
  • Collect companies stats (number of users, added company to their profiles)
  • Collect positions stats
  • Collect Drupal Association members stats
  • Collect TOP mentors stats

Planned TODO items:

  • Get stabilized release from master
  • Switch to SQL flow (#cibox related)
  • Open DEMO site at list.drupal.ua for Ukraine
  • Improve ability to collect stats for any other country
  • Improve data visualisation by adding bunch of graphs
  • Add diff graphs for countries
