Start:
2016-04-22 13:00 - 14:00 America/New_York
Organizers:
Event type:
Online meeting (eg. IRC meeting)

INVITED: Anybody who is interested in coordinating efforts on the dRealty module, especially as it relates to a version for Drupal 8 and the latest stable phrets release. This hangout is a follow-up to one on March 22. For additional background, see the postings at https://www.drupal.org/node/2540214.

LOCATION: Google Hangout at https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/ftechs.com/drealty-coord (note: there is a Hangout limit on participants that is 10 or 15)

EVENT FACILITATOR: Jon Freed *

EVENT AGENDA:

(1) What are the hot issues for active deployments and why and who can do anything about them?

(2) What are the current priorities for the D8 version and who can work on them?

2a. Shaun Tyndll has volunteered to present ideas related to areas of functionality and how we might structure of a basic skeleton. (My goal (Jon Freed) is an architecture of loosely-coupled components that would be relatively easy to divide among interested developers.)

  • I, Jon Freed, am certainly not in charge of dRealty. I'm just trying to help build and keep forward momentum. I'm very new to the module and others have a lot more experience with it. Please let me know if I'm stepping on anybody's toes or if there's a way I can improve my attempts to help. My primary interests are to improve technology for my wife's real estate business and to enjoy puttering around with some back-end code.

I'm interested in contributing to this module for D8. if someone gives me the roadmap of what is planned, I'll be happy to take up some of the developing / coding tasks.

We've been delayed in starting a D8 version of the module as we have made a priority of getting to a final stable version of D7. See: https://www.drupal.org/node/1951580
