The Colorado CMS Meetup group is featuring Drupal (with an emphasis on Commerce 2.x) at its September meeting. I did a short introductory presentation on Drupal generally at their inaugural meeting this month, and it was well-received enough to do a deeper dive in September.
While the presentation will be geared toward a more general audience, if you're interested in learning more about Drupal Commerce 2.x (that is, the total refactor for Drupal 8) this is the place to do it. I've been increasingly involved with the Commerce project recently, with a few commit credits on the payments submodule.
