User group meeting

This month's Portland Drupal User Group will be this Wednesday, April 12 (Tomorrow) from 6pm to 8:30pm at Phase 2 (514 NW 11th Ave. Ste 203).

Pizza and beverages hosted by Phase 2. Come at 6pm for food and socializing. Get to know your local Drupal community in a casual welcoming environment.

Presentations will start at about 6:30pm. We have two presentations:

Elijah Lynn will be getting us up to speed on the command line. The command line has become a key skill for web people. He'll be giving new people enough to get started, and he'll also have plenty of advanced tips and tricks for the pros.

Maria Fisher will teach us how to power our Drupal 8 website content from Google Doc spreadsheet. If you're still sharing databases between developers and servers, this talk is for you.

Wish I could make it tonight! Sadly, I got stuck with some extra paperwork tonight.

Will either of the presentations be recorded?

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for listening and participating in my Migrate Google Sheets talk last night. Here are my slides:

As well as the spreadsheet I used to populate the Meme site:

If any of you want to experiment with that Meme site, it can be built from source here: https://github.com/mariacha/mgs-meme

Thanks!

Awesome, thanks.
